2. Hong Kong and Macao Pass:

The Hong Kong and Macao Pass, commonly known as the Two-way Permit, is a travel document issued by the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China to China mainland residents for private travel, visiting relatives, engaging in business, training, employment, study abroad and other non-official activities.

Pass is divided into individual travel, group travel, visiting relatives, business, other, stay and other categories.

After August 1, 2017, Hong Kong and Macao passes for group tours to Hong Kong and Macao through all ports are no longer signed by travel agencies, and group tours can also be directly signed.

3. Travel Permit of the People's Republic of China:

The Travel Permit of the People's Republic of China, informally referred to as China Travel Permit or China Travel Permit, has two versions: one-year valid and two-year valid. Generally, it is valid for two-year multiple entry and exit. Since 1951, the certificate of return issued in April 1990 has been replaced by the travel permit of the People's Republic of China.

4. E-passport:

Biometric passport is a kind of passport with built-in micro RFID contactless chip containing the biometric information of the holder, which can use biometric functions such as face recognition or signature to prove the identity of the holder of travel documents. The contactless chip of e-passport has digital signature to ensure the integrity of biometric data and passport.

At present, biometric identification includes face recognition, fingerprint recognition and iris scanning. An electronic chip is embedded in the cover or a page of a traditional passport, and personal information such as the holder's name, gender, date of birth, photo image and fingerprint are stored in the chip.

5. Passport:

Passport is a legal document issued by a country to prove the nationality and identity of its citizens when they enter or leave its territory and travel or stay abroad. The word Passport means port pass in English. In other words, a passport is a pass for citizens to travel through international ports in various countries. Therefore, some countries in the world usually issue passes instead of passports.

From September 1st, 2018, passports can be renewed in different places in China.

6. Port visa:

Port visa is a special way for foreigners to apply for entry. Generally speaking, foreigners should apply for visas to the diplomatic representative offices, consular offices or other foreign agencies authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China.

However, under special circumstances, according to the regulations of the State Council, foreigners can also apply for visas at the port designated by the competent authorities of China government, which is what we often call port visas. Port visa is an important supplement to visa application and management, and it is also a common practice in the international community.

7, mainland residents to Taiwan pass:

The Pass for Mainland Residents to and from Taiwan is a document held by residents from Chinese mainland to and from Taiwan Province, China, and is generally checked together with the Entry Permit. From July 1, 2015, the validity period of the Permit for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from Taiwan was changed from the original five years to 10 years.

On December 20, 2016, the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China issued an announcement, deciding to enable the electronic pass to and from Taiwan. Since December 26, the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of Fujian Province began to accept the application for the electronic pass to and from Taiwan on a pilot basis, and stopped issuing the current pass to and from Taiwan.
