(A) Tourism resources
Located in the depths of Wuling Mountain and in the southeast of Chongqing, Qianjiang is rich in tourism resources.
1. Colorful natural resources. Qianjiang City has been declared as a national excellent tourist city.
2. Simple ethnic customs. Qianjiang is a settlement of Tujia and Miao nationalities, with simple and rich ethnic customs and unique charm of ethnic songs and dances. Tujia hand-waving dance is famous for its unique rhythm, bright rhythm and beautiful dance. Miao people's festivals such as "Catch Autumn", "March 3rd" and "June 6th" are colorful.
Tujia Diaojiaolou can be seen everywhere in Qianjiang, among which the typical Tujia Diaojiaolou group in Bridge Ethnic Village is the most distinctive, forming a complete cottage where Tujia people live, which is integrated with the surrounding ancient trees, mountains and pastoral streams. The simple Tujia people deeply experience the rich cultural heritage of Tujia people by performing yangko, yangko, gongs and drums and New Year's Eve dance. The whole village is well-structured and patchwork.
In 2004, Qianjiang successfully held the "China Wuling Mountain Ethnic Culture Festival" approved by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the Ministry of Culture and the National Tourism Administration. There are many kinds of ethnic local products in Qianjiang, and the ethnic flavor diet is unique. Tujia brocade is colorful, and Miao embroidery, batik and other handmade products are well-known inside and outside the area. In particular, the southwest Karp produced by Tujia people is simple, elegant and full of national characteristics, which is favored by Chinese and foreign people.
3. Good ecological environment. Qianjiang is far away from big cities and industrial pollution, so its agricultural products are pollution-free. The air here is fresh and natural, just like a natural oxygen bar, which attracts countless tourists.
4. Relatively complete tourism supporting facilities. The tourist facilities in the whole region are basically complete, and from the traffic point of view, train passenger transport is about to open to traffic. Zhoubai Airport is under construction. The existing unblocked national highway 319, the Chongqing-Changchun Expressway has just started, and hardened highways have arrived in Xiaonanhai, Apengjiang Shengui Gorge and Wuling Xianshan. There are three bus stations in the urban area, with 338 buses, 224 taxis and 86 buses in Chang 'an and the city. (B) the status quo of tourism development
1. The effect is remarkable. Qianjiang tourism industry started late, but after years of development, especially since the establishment of the new district, with the great attention of the district party committee and government, the people of all ethnic groups in the whole region have closely focused on the goal of building Qianjiang into a "tourism service center in southeastern Chongqing", and the construction speed has been obviously accelerated, with remarkable results.
(1) The construction of tourist facilities has been fruitful. Since the construction of the new district, the total investment in the construction of roads, infrastructure and supporting facilities in tourist attractions in the whole region has reached 230 million yuan, and the infrastructure of Xiaonanhai, Apengjiang and Wuling Xianshan has basically been put in place. Among them, Xiaonanhai has built 3 wharves, 2 wind and rain bridges, 1 suspension bridge, 3 toilets, walking paths, roads around the lake, connected roads, branch roads, parking lots, communication, water and electricity, fire protection, safety protection and other related facilities, built gates, earthquake gardens and viewing pavilions, and maintained the pavilion in the middle of the lake, with a total investment of more than 40 million yuan. The Shengui Gorge in Apeng River has built two "two thin" highways, two tourist docks and related facilities such as communication, water and electricity, and safety protection, with a total investment of about 13 million yuan. Wuling Fairy Mountain has built two hiking trails, front uphill roads, back uphill roads, parking lots and toilets, as well as related facilities such as communication, water and electricity, fire protection and safety protection, and built Xiangshan Temple, memorial archway, Wuling Fairy Pool and other scenic spots, and has carried out environmental renovation and maintenance, with a total investment of more than 30 million yuan.
(2) The development speed of tourism is gratifying. In 2005, the number of tourists received was 523,060, an increase of 17.1% over the same period of 2004, and the comprehensive tourism income was 109.2 million yuan, an increase of 21.6% over the same period of 2004. Among them, the number of tourists received by accommodation facilities was 276,487, an increase of 16% over the same period of 2004, and the operating income was 55.63 million yuan, an increase of 62% over the same period of 2004. The number of tourists received by scenic spots was 245,473, an increase of 2% compared with the same period in 2004, and the comprehensive tourism income was 24.55 million yuan, a decrease of 16% compared with the same period in 2004. Travel agencies received 1,100 tourists, a year-on-year decrease of 154%, and their operating income was 1.7 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 16%; The operating income of farmhouse music and designated tourist commodities was 27.32 million yuan, an increase of 4% over the same period in 2004. The average room occupancy rate of star-rated hotels is 63%, and the average number of days for tourists to stay in our area is 1.1 days.
(3) The status of tourism industry has improved. In 2005, the comprehensive tourism income of the whole region accounted for 3.42% of GDP in that year, an increase of 1.81 percentage points over 2000. The number of people in tourism professionals reached 3,004, accounting for 5.1% of the employees in the tertiary industry that year, an increase of 2,569 and 4.33 percentage points respectively compared with 2000.
(C) Qianjiang Tourism Outlook
1. Development orientation
Focusing on the three "trump cards" of "geological wonders, ethnic customs and eco-tourism", Qianjiang will be built as a tourist service center in southeastern Chongqing, a first-class tourist destination, a strong tourist area in the city and a national tourist famous area at an early date, and tourism will become an important pillar industry in the whole region.
2. Development advantages
(1) The gradually improved transportation industry. Highway, "Yuxiang" Expressway has started now, and it is expected to be open to traffic in 2009. During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, expressways of "Qian Wan" and "Qian En" will be built. At present, Pengwu section is being repaired, which is expected to improve to some extent. The railway, which is being tested, will soon be used for freight transportation, and it is expected to be used for passenger transportation in the first half of next year. And the country will build double tracks during the 11th Five-Year Plan period, which will greatly improve the transportation speed and capacity. Aircraft and Zhoubai Airport are being built in full swing, which can at least improve the reputation of Qianjiang. (2) The district government attaches great importance to tourism. First, in 2002, the Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Tourism Service Center in Southeast Chongqing (Qianjiang Fufa [2003] No.40) was issued, and the goal of building Qianjiang into a tourism service center in Southeast Chongqing was put forward. The second is to set up a leading group for the development of tourism economy in the whole region, with the district head as the team leader. Leading groups for development have been set up in major scenic spots. The financial budget of the district has budgeted special funds for tourism development at the corresponding level. Third, the main leaders often study the development of tourism. The main leaders of the district committee and government visit the main scenic spots for more than 5 times every year, and effectively study and solve the outstanding problems in the development of tourism.
(3) The infrastructure construction of scenic spots has been steadily advanced. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, the infrastructure construction of major scenic spots, such as Xiaonanhai, Apengjiang Shengui Gorge and Wuling Xianshan, continued, which greatly improved the reputation and popularity of Qianjiang tourism compared with the end of the Ninth Five-Year Plan. It is predicted that during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, the infrastructure construction in scenic spots will be further strengthened, and the construction of the Huiqianliangzi National Forest Park will be started.
(4) The focus of Qianjiang tourism will shift from infrastructure construction to marketing promotion. The construction of scenic spots in the whole region has begun to take shape, and the District Tourism Bureau has shifted the focus of tourism work to marketing. Based on the selling points of Qianjiang tourism, such as "geological wonders, ethnic customs and eco-tourism", it is planned to increase the promotion of Qianjiang tourism through outdoor advertisements, newspapers and television, internet and various exhibitions.
(5) The ever-increasing popularity of Qianjiang tourism. After years of careful construction, through outdoor T-shaped, street signs, newspapers and other advertisements, various trade fairs, newspapers, television and other media publicity and promotion, Qianjiang tourism has occupied a certain popularity. Especially on the Xiaonanhai earthquake site unique in China and rare in the world, and on the strange peaks and rocks, Wuling Fairy Mountain, a religious holy place once as famous as Fanjing Mountain and Emei Mountain, is famous far away. The mysterious and primitive Apeng River Tortoise Canyon, which is being gradually developed, makes many tourists linger as if they were in a paradise and a fairyland on earth.

By 2010, the number of tourists will be 1.2 million, and the comprehensive tourism income will be 360 million yuan. First, further strengthen publicity and promotion, integrate tourism resources and package tourism products as a whole. Second, continue to strengthen investment in tourism infrastructure, further improve the infrastructure of Xiaonanhai and Wuling Xianshan scenic spots, and vigorously promote the road project of Huiqianliang. The third is to strengthen the landscape construction and enhance the tourist attraction. Focus on strengthening the construction of the demonstration hall of the Earthquake Museum, the National Ecological Museum, the Wuling Temple and the Xishuigui Cultural Village to create tourist highlights; Accelerate the construction of Qianjiang as a city surrounded by mountains and water, with ethnic customs and eco-tourism, and realize the leap to a national tourist city. Qianjiang tourist attractions include Zhuoshui Ancient Town, Tujia Thirteen Villages in Qianjiang, Puhua Underground River, Xiaonanhai in Qianjiang and Alice Manor.
1. Zhuoshui Ancient Town
Zhuoshui Ancient Town is located in Zhuoshui Town, Qianjiang District, Chongqing, 26 kilometers away from the main city of Qianjiang, and the Yuhuai Railway, Yuxiang Expressway and National Highway 319 pass through the territory, 26 kilometers away from Zhoubai Airport, with convenient transportation. Zhuoshui ancient town rose in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Song Dynasty, and gradually declined after the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Thirteen Villages of Tujia Nationality in Qianjiang, located in Banjiaxi Valley in the northern part of Xiaonanhai Town, Qianjiang District, Chongqing, is 41 kilometers away from Qianjiang City and about 320 kilometers away from Chongqing. 3. Puhua Underground River
Puhua Underground River passes through the ancient town of Zhuoshui, which is about 3 kilometers away from Puhua River and more than 1 kilometer long. 4. Qianjiang Xiaonanhai
Xiaonanhai, formerly known as Xiaoyinghai, is a beautiful alpine lake, located at the junction of Chongqing and Hubei, more than 30 kilometers north of Qianjiang City, about an hour's drive. It is an alpine freshwater lake that integrates mountains, seas, islands and gorges, and it is also the most intact ancient earthquake site in China so far. The water surface is 370.5 meters above sea level and covers an area of 2.87 square kilometers.
5. Alice Manor
Alice Manor, a national 4A-level tourist scenic spot, is located in Fengjia Street, Qianjiang District, Chongqing. It is located in the "0-line" tourist loop of Apeng River along the Yangtze River, Balahu 4A scenic spot and Zhuoshui 5A scenic spot. It is a key project of leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration belt in Apeng River basin. The project covers an area of more than 800 mu and is invested by Chongqing Hongye Group, a subsidiary of Chongqing Alice Manor Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd..
