01. Nadam Convention
Nadam convention is held from July to August every year. Nadam actually means entertainment. This festival is actually very important in Mongolia. Generally, during festivals, many men, women and children in Mongolia will dress up and ride horses to participate in the competition. The activity period is only two days. During these two days, there are many competitions, such as horse racing and Mongolian archery. 02, Inner Mongolia Grassland Tourism FestivalThe grassland tourism festival in Inner Mongolia is usually held between July and September every year. This festival is actually a large-scale tourism trading festival. On this festival, there will be all kinds of competitive competitions, and there will also be all kinds of recreational activities, such as some traditional folk activities. The scale of this festival is very large, and people from all over the world will be invited to participate in it. 03, bonfire festivalThe bonfire festival is usually held on June 18th every year. The bonfire festival is a traditional festival of the Oroqen people in northern Inner Mongolia. On this day of the festival, local residents will light bonfires and sing and dance around them. In fact, the people of this clan worship Vulcan very much. They think that fire can drive away evil spirits. On the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month, they also have the custom of sending Vulcan to heaven.
04, Lantern FestivalLantern Festival is usually on October 25th of the lunar calendar. On this day, every household will light butter lamps at night. In addition, when the night comes, there will be various forms of entertainment, such as horse racing, camel racing, wrestling and shooting competitions. At the same time, there will be tug-of-war competitions, playing and singing competitions and so on.
Inner Mongolia has rich and colorful holiday customs. Here are some special holiday activities:
1. Spring Festival: The Mongolian people call it "New Year". During the festival, Mongolian robes, mutton and dairy products will be prepared. On New Year's Eve, people will drink, eat jiaozi, play chess and listen to books until dawn. On the morning of the first day of junior high school, people will put on colorful clothes, ride horses and string yurts, and conduct horse racing and other activities.
2. Lantern Festival: Baotou people call it "Lantern Festival". People will set up a palace shed and set up a "fire" in front of the shed at night to carry out entertainment activities such as walking on stilts and car parties.
3. Tomb-Sweeping Day: The Mongolians will pay homage before and after Tomb-Sweeping Day, add soil to worship their ancestors, eat black meat, send meat to their neighbors, and burn "Tulexi" to worship their ancestors.
4. Dragon Boat Festival: Mongolians have the custom of making a big encirclement, carrying out large-scale hunting activities and eating cold cakes at the same time.

6. Animal Festival: Mongolians will celebrate the New Year for livestock on the 16th day of the first month to celebrate the prosperity of livestock.

9. Horse Milk Festival: In August of the lunar calendar, it was held in some pastoral areas of Xilin Gol League and Ordos to celebrate the milking of new milk.
10. Chagansa Day: It is held in Ordos from December 16th to the 15th of the first month of the lunar calendar, and includes activities such as offering fire sacrifices, celebrating birthdays and paying New Year greetings.
11. Fire Sacrifice: On the 24th day of the twelfth lunar month, a fire sacrifice ceremony was held in Xilin Gol.
Basque Festival: A festival celebrated by Chinese and Russian descendants from April to May every year, with activities such as giving gifts, singing and dancing.
13. Ningcheng Rhododendron Festival: Every May, it is held in the west of Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, with activities such as forest bathing and rhododendron viewing.

16. Nadam Grassland Tourism Festival: held in Hohhot from July to August every year, showing Mongolian culture such as song and dance, sports and competition.
Zhaojun Cultural Festival: held in Hohhot from July to September every year, integrating culture, economy, trade, sports and tourism.
18. Wulan Muqi Art Festival: held every two years (July or August) in Hohhot, with the participation of Wulan Muqi Club.
19. Alashan Zuoqi Kistler Cultural Tourism Festival: held in Bayanhaote Town, Alashan League every August, featuring exhibitions of Kistler and Root Carvings.
20. China-Russia-Mongolia Border Tourism Festival: held in Manzhouli, Hulunbeier every August, jointly organized by the three countries.
21. Qidan Liao Culture Festival: It is held every August in Liao Cultural Tourism Zone, Lindong Town, Balinzuoqi, Chifeng City.

29. China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival: held every December in Manzhouli City, Hulunbeier City, to display ice and snow artworks.
30. Aershan International Ice and Snow Festival: Every December, it is held in Aershan, Xing 'an League to show the winter scenery of Aershan.
