brief introduction
Is a small town in the south of the Yangtze River, with the reputation of "the first water town in China".

2. Jinxi Ancient Town
brief introduction
Located on the bank of Dianshan Lake in the southern suburbs of Kunshan, it is a water town in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of thousands of years. History, humanities and natural landscapes are all here.
Folk collections in the ancient town include ancient brick and tile museum, purple sand museum and pot museum, which provide visitors with a glimpse of the cultural revolution collection exhibition hall.

3. Shenting
brief introduction
Originally named Jingye Hall, Shenting Hall was changed to Songmao Hall in the late Qing Dynasty. It was built by Shen Benren, a descendant of Shen Wansan, in the seventh year of Qing Qianlong.
Located in Nanshi Street on the south side of the east bank of Fuan Bridge in Zhouzhuang, it faces east and west, with seven entrances and five gatehouses. There are more than 100 large and small houses.
Shenting is a representative scenic spot in Zhouzhuang, with rich architecture style and antique environment, and Songmaotang is the main attraction.

4. Shuangqiao
brief introduction
Shuangqiao is composed of Shide Bridge and Yong 'an Bridge, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. The two bridges are connected and look like ancient keys, also known as key bridge.
The special significance here is that the reflection of the lake and Hashimoto's figure form a standard circle, which is very distinctive.
Shuangqiao can best reflect the charm of the ancient town. Chen Yifei created an oil painting entitled "Memories of Hometown" with Shuangqiao as the background.
Although the commercial development here is serious and there are many people, the flowing water and ancient buildings in the south of the Yangtze River are still preserved.

5. Qiandeng Ancient Town
brief introduction
Qiandeng ancient town, with a history of more than 2,500 years, is full of white walls and black tiles.
The ancient town still preserves the buildings of the Ming, Qing and Republic of China, and still retains the quaint features such as "land and water parallel" and "river street adjacent".
This is the birthplace of Kunqu Opera and the silk and bamboo in the south of the Yangtze River, the hometown of Gu Yanwu, and the ninth generation of Tao Yuanming, Sun Taoxian, was also born here.
The town retains the Yu's pawnshop, which can be called "the first pawn in China". Shiban Street in Ming and Qing Dynasties is "a must in the south of the Yangtze River" and is a well-preserved Shiban Street in the province.

6. Zhouzhuang Museum
brief introduction
Zhouzhuang Museum is located in a simple and elegant residence, which was originally a residence of a Zhu family in the early years of the Republic of China.
The whole pattern here is the front hall and back hall, and the east and west are in the form of ladders, which mainly display the folk living utensils and farm tools.
There are also paintings, photographs and arts and crafts works by famous modern artists in the museum, which shows the strong nostalgia of Zhouzhuang, the first water town in China.
The museum is full of the history of Zhouzhuang, which is a good place to learn about Zhouzhuang.

7. Nanhu Qiuyue Garden
brief introduction
Located in the south of Zhouzhuang Town, commonly known as Nanbaidang, this large lake with nearly a thousand acres of water surface brings abundant water sources to Zhouzhuang.
With a quiet environment, Maolin Lake is a natural reservoir and fish farm, and also a rare scenic spot.

8. Kunshan Urban Ecological Forest Park
brief introduction
Kunshan Urban Ecological Forest Park, the largest urban forest park in East China, is located in the northwest of Kunshan City, 4 kilometers away from the city center. The scenic spots in the park include: Wetland Aquatic Botanical Garden, Farming Cultural Center and Crop Display Area, Herb Garden, Plum Garden, Bamboo Garden, Wetland Purification Demonstration Area, Wetland Protection and Restoration Area, Peony Garden and Bird Island. There are 387 kinds of plants and more than 1.2 million plants in the park. Through the protection and display of biodiversity in the park, the park has become the green lung of Kunshan city. 9. Quanfu Lecture Temple
brief introduction
Quanfu Lecture Temple was built in the first year of Song Yuanyou, and it is a temple built by Zhou Digong, a native of the village.
The temple was built on the lake, which is one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Zhouzhuang. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by catastrophe and rebuilt in recent years.
It's far and wide, adjacent to the South Lake, and there are few tourists, so it's quite quiet. Occasionally, there are bells struck by tourists, which really means meditation.

Car: To Zhouzhuang, you can take a special tourist line or a regular shuttle bus from Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou and Kunshan. Self-driving: Suzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo and other places can all go to Zhouzhuang, and now expressways extend in all directions, so self-driving is a more convenient choice.
First, the car
Zhouzhuang only goes by land, which is more than 80 kilometers away from Shanghai Railway Station, 60 kilometers away from Suzhou Railway Station and 40 kilometers away from Kunshan Railway Station. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive from Shanghai Qingping Highway (National Highway 318, via Qingpu) to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
To Zhouzhuang, you can take the special tourist line or regular shuttle bus from Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Kunshan and other places: ① go south to Zhouzhuang via the exit of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway-Kunshan; ② Take the Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway-Jiaxing Exit-Pingwang Direction-National Highway 318-Shangzhou Highway to Zhouzhuang; ③ After taking the train to Shanghai, Suzhou or Kunshan, there are shuttle buses to Zhouzhuang.
