How to use dream weaving cms template module?

Usually, in order to develop websites quickly, developers will use online Dreamweaver template resources. Of course, people who are familiar with dream weaving don't need to see a tutorial on how to use dream weaving templates, but it is necessary for beginners.

Download DEDEECMS-V5.7-UTF8-SP1 from Dreamweaver (this is the latest UTF8 version).

Unzip the compressed package of DedeCMS-V5.7-UTF8-SP1 and upload all files in the uploads folder to the server, usually in the root directory of wwwroot or www folder.

Open (xx.com)/install/index.PHP in the browser and start the installation. Follow the installation instructions step by step.

After the dream weaving installation is completed, open and log in to enter the background management website content. I won't say much about the background management operation here.

Next, let's talk about applying templates.

First, unzip the template resources downloaded from the Internet.

Follow the instructions and steps.

In addition, some templates can directly upload all template files (including folders and. Html files) to the server to overwrite the original files in the templates folder under the root directory.

How to modify the template?

First of all, we assume that the template file name is: cms (which can be set by ourselves), and the original default style name of dedecms is: default.

1. Open the background-system-system basic parameter template default style: cms, and then confirm.

2. Background-Generate-Update Homepage Select Homepage Template: cms/index.htm, and then update Homepage HTML.

3. This step is mainly to modify the template of the backstage column. You should first be familiar with which templates are list templates and which are article page templates in your template folder. Background-Core-Website Column Management A) Click Change on the corresponding column B) Change-Advanced Options-Template Selection

1. The default template of Dreamweaver CMS is in the templates default folder. Generally, there are templates for home page, list page, content page, head and tail!

Index.htm----- home page template

Footer.htm------ Tail Template

Header.htm------ header template

List_article.htm------ list page template.

Article_article.htm-------- Content Page Template

2. Upload the downloaded or modified template to templetsdefault. You can also customize the template folder, and change the default template style in the website background-system settings to your template folder.

3. Enter the dream weaving background, template-default template management, and see if the template you just uploaded is here. If it is, it will be uploaded successfully.

Or open it in the form of text on the ftp or server control terminal of the website.

4. Click [Generate] in the dream weaving background-update the website with one click, and click Update.

5. Finally, go to the website to see if it is a template that has just been uploaded. If it is, it will be completed.

I hope I can help you and hope to adopt it.
