Taipei tourist route
Taiwan Province is the largest treasure island in China, and it is also a place rich in natural resources. The human environment and natural environment here are world-class and a good tourist destination. Here, I will share with you detailed strategies.
Classic Island Route Taipei-Pingxi Line-Jiufen-Taichung-(Qingjing Farm/Sun Moon Lake/Alishan)-Kaohsiung-Kenting-Hualien-Taipei Taiwan Province Island Cycling Raiders
1. Taipei-Pingxi Line
1. Take the MRT from Taipei to taipei main station.
2. taipei main station takes the Taiwan Railway to Ruifang Station. Because the distance is very close, there are many shuttle buses, so you can brush the easycard Taiwan Railway directly without buying tickets in advance.
3. After arriving at Ruifang Station, buy a one-day ticket for Pingxi Line. The fare is 64NT. It is strongly recommended to go to the tourist center to take a picture of the timetable of the shuttle bus on Pingxi Line, the train on Pingxi Line, the direction of Jingtong and the direction of returning to Ruifang. There is a fixed time to each station, basically one bus every hour. When visiting each station, arrange the time reasonably, otherwise the next one will have to wait for a long time.
4. There are basically four places to visit on Pingxi Line: Monkey Cave, Shifo, Pingxi and Jingdong. It is suggested that the order of the tour should be from far to near: Jingdong-Pingxi-Shifo-Monkey Cave, in which Shifo Station can spend an extra hour to visit. There are Shifo Old Street, Jing 'an Suspension Bridge, Shifo Waterfall and so on, and the sky lanterns are also placed here.
2. Pingxi Line-Jiufen
Return to Ruifang from Pingxi Line, where you can take Keelung passenger transport to Jiufen. The bus sign you saw when you left Ruifang Station was not for Jiufen, but for Taipei. The bus stop sign for Jiufen was on the opposite side of the road and walked inside for a while. If you go to Jiufen, it is recommended to leave your luggage at Ruifang Railway Station. Jiufen Old Street has many mountain roads, so it is inconvenient to take your luggage. If you want to go to Jiufen directly from Taipei, you can also choose a chartered bus or a one-day tour, which is more suitable for tourists with children and the elderly.
3. Jiufen-Taichung
After visiting Jiufen, you can go to see Jinguashi or Keelung Port in the daytime, and then start to circle the island counterclockwise. The first stop-Taichung, you can return to Taipei from Ruifang first. There will be more trains from Taipei to Taichung. The Taiwan Railway takes about two hours from Taipei to Taichung, and the fare is NT375. There are also high-speed trains from Taipei to Taichung. There are many trains, usually less than half an hour from 6: 30 in the morning to 11: 00 in the evening, and the price is NT765.
4. Taichung-Kaohsiung
The transportation from Taichung to Kaohsiung is very convenient. You can take the Taiwan Railway or the high-speed train. It is worth noting that the two stations are not one station. It is recommended to take the train from Taichung Railway Station to high-speed railway station, which is faster than taking the bus. The Taiwan Railway takes about two and a half hours, and the fare is about NT469. The high-speed train can arrive in a little over an hour, and the fare is about NT770.
5. Kaohsiung-Kenting
The most convenient way from Kaohsiung to Kenting is to take the Taiwan Haoxing Kenting Line, which costs 383 yuan for one way. You can brush the easycard when you go back and forth to 600 yuan (bought at the counter of Kenting Express Line at Zuoying Station), and you can see it when you leave Zuoying Station. It takes about 2.5 hours by car, and there will be a live black car at the door. You must find a regular Kenting Express Line. The car passes through Hengchun and Kenting Street, where you can get off and say hello to the master in advance. You can also go by chartered bus, which is not much more expensive than bus.
6. Kenting-Hualien
If you take a train from Kenting to Hualien, you need to take a bus from Kenting to Fangliao Railway Station, then to Taitung Railway Station, and then from Taitung to Hualien, which is very inconvenient. Moreover, it is not very convenient to go to the famous scenic spots, such as Braun Avenue, Ikebano, and the Tropic of Cancer. As we all know, most people will choose a chartered bus to go back and forth from Kenting in the morning.
7. Hualien-Taipei
The train line between Hualien and Taipei is not divided into two different railway lines, but only one railway line. The online mountain line and sea line is nothing more than a car, and the window is on the sea side or on the mountain side. If the ticket you bought happens to be on the sea side, congratulations, you can see the blue Pacific Ocean. Tickets for this section of Hualien in Taipei are not easy to buy, especially if you catch the holidays in Taiwan Province, it is recommended to buy tickets in advance.
