The National Palace Museum in Taipei is located at No.221, Section 2, Zhishan Road, Shilin District, Taipei City, Taiwan Province Province. It was built in 1962 and completed in the summer of 1965. It covers a total area of about 16 hectares.

In order to imitate the traditional palace architecture in China, the main building has four floors, with white walls and green tiles, and the main courtyard is plum blossom-shaped. In October 2015, the National Palace Museum in Taipei celebrated the 90th birthday of the Beijing Palace Museum, which coincided with the 300th anniversary of the Italian missionary Lang Shining's visit to China. He borrowed 11 paintings by Lang Shining from the Beijing Palace Museum and other merchants, fully demonstrating the achievements and contributions in the history of cultural exchanges between China and the West in the 18th century. The exhibition ended on January 6th, 2016.

Sun Moon Lake is 748 meters above sea level, with a normal area of 7.93 ㎞ (10 ㎞ at full water level), a maximum water depth of 27 meters and a lake circumference of about 37 kilometers. It is one of the freshwater lakes with the most exotic species in Taiwan Province. It is bounded by Guanghua Island, with the northern half lake shaped like a round sun and the southern half lake shaped like a crescent moon.

In 2009, Sun Moon Lake was selected as "the largest natural freshwater lake in Taiwan Province" in world record association, and was selected as one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan Province in the Qing Dynasty, so it was called "a hole in the sky overseas".

Sun Moon Lake is a scenic "Tianchi Lake" in Taiwan Province, China. It is located in the north of Yushan Mountain and the south of Nenggao Waterfall, between Jiji Mountain (west of the lake) and Shuishe Mountain (east of the lake).
