Baohua Mountain was once one of the areas with rich biological resources in the north subtropical zone in history, and its vegetation is well preserved at present. According to the investigation, there are more than 500 kinds of plants, among which Magnolia baohua is a rare ancient tree species in China, known as living fossils. Many kinds of medicinal materials and precious forests naturally grow in the mountains.
Baohua Mountain is known as "the beauty of the foothills, the beauty of the peaks and valleys, the depth of caves and valleys, and the victory of misty clouds". In 1981, it was approved by the provincial government as a "provincial nature reserve" and in April 1996 it was approved as a national forest park. In 2003, it was approved as a national AAAA scenic spot.

I. Maoshan Mountain

Jintan area includes Jintan Maoshan Scenic Area, Jintan Maoshan Tourist Resort, 11 administrative villages and 3 nurseries in the administrative area of Xuebu Town, with a total area of about 127.35 square kilometers. Jurong area includes jurong city Maoshan Scenic Area, Maoshan Lake, tourist resort and surrounding major scenic spots and the main area of Maoshan market town, with a total area of about 126.5 square kilometers. Maoshan Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain in China, the birthplace of Taoist Shangqing School, and is called "Shangqing Zongtan" by Taoism. It has the reputation of "the first blessed land and the eighth cave". It is also one of the six anti-Japanese base areas in China. There are many scenic spots on the mountain, including Jiu Feng, Nineteen Springs, Twenty-six Caves and Twenty-eight Pools.
Maoshan Scenic Area was listed as a provincial forest park by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in 1986. In the same year, Maoshan was approved as a provincial first-class scenic spot by Jiangsu Provincial Government. In October, 2013, Maoshan Scenic Area was promoted to the national 5A-level scenic spot, becoming the 18th national 5A-level scenic spot in Jiangsu Province.
Second, Yuanfu Wanning Palace

Third, Baohua Mountain
Baohuashan National Forest Park is located in the northwest of jurong city, Jiangsu Province, bordering Nanjing, on the south side of National Highway 312 and north of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, 30 kilometers away from Jurong, Nanjing and Zhenjiang. It is 10 kilometers away from Xiashu Town, jurong city. Baohua Mountain was originally named Huashan Mountain, and it was named after the yellow flowers flooded the mountain in spring. Later, it was renamed Baohua Mountain because Baozhi, a monk of the Liang Dynasty in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, came here to give a lecture.
