Travel guide of five cities in East China during the Spring Festival
Is it suitable to travel to six cities in East China in early December?
Yes, the six cities in East China are in the south, and there are no too cold winters in the south. They are all warm winters, and most scenic spots will not change much. However, if you have decided to go in early December, I suggest you take as much clothes as possible. If possible, take clothes all year round for emergencies, because the weather in each city is not normal in recent years, and it is always useful to take more clothes.
What is the best season to travel to five cities in East China?
The best time to travel in East China is during the Spring Festival-May 1. If it enters the rainy season from May to June, it is not suitable to travel in East China. Five-seven days' travel can be arranged in several famous places in East China:
1. Nanjing-Morning: Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum (free), ming tomb (70 tickets, 35 student tickets)-You can get there by taking a tour of 1. Take a look at Xuanwu Lake in the afternoon and row a boat. You can see the night view of Nanjing there from 7: 00 in the evening. Rest at night, it is recommended to live at the central gate, because it is close to both the railway station and the bus station, which is convenient for taking a bus.
2. Suzhou-It takes three hours to leave Nanjing early in the morning and take a bus to Suzhou. Suzhou is enough to go to two places, Tiger Hill and Humble Administrator's Garden.
Accommodation suggestion is to live in Guanqian Street, a commercial street in Suzhou, because it is also convenient to take a bus there. And after visiting the scenic spots at night, you can also go there to eat snacks-Guanqian Snack Street!
3. Wuzhen —— Take a bus from Suzhou to Wuzhen in the early morning, and it takes an hour and a half to get there. Book the hotel in advance! When you arrive in Wuzhen, put something in the hotel first, so go and play! Then on the morning of the fourth day, I went to Dongzha and went to Hangzhou from Wuzhen. 4. Hangzhou-West Lake (free)-Walking around Su Causeway, San Tan Yin Yue, Bai Causeway, Broken Bridge, etc.-Riding a bike is also ok, because the West Lake is too big! -I suggest living near Hefang Street, which is close to the railway station, convenient to go to Shanghai, and there are pedestrian streets and snack streets!
5. Shanghai-It's almost enough to visit the Bund and see the buildings of all countries. Although Nanjing Road is nothing special, it is also the most famous commercial street in Shanghai. You can simply visit it, and of course you can also visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum because it is near Nanjing Road.
When will the five cities in East China go?
A trip to the south of the Yangtze River in March is better. Trees are green, rape blossoms and peach blossoms are in bloom (there are many varieties of peaches, and different peaches have different flowering dates). Spring in rural areas in the south of the Yangtze River is very beautiful. Don't worry about rainy days, many scenery in the south of the Yangtze River are more suitable for rainy days. Walking with an umbrella in a small town in the south of the Yangtze River, by the West Lake, or in the zigzag bridge or urban green space in Shanghai on rainy days is very poetic and interesting. As the saying goes, fireworks went down to Yangzhou in March, when the weather warmed up, everything revived and the environment was suitable for outing. [Expansion] Five cities in East China are one of the important tourism resources in China, mainly including Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Wuxi. This is "a land of plenty in the south of the Yangtze River, a place with beautiful scenery, a capital of historical relics and a place where celebrities gather". Zhouzhuang is the best water town in the south of the Yangtze River. The urban style is dominated by Shanghai metropolis, with the Bund ten miles of foreign markets, Pudong New Area rising from the ground, and the Pearl Tower reaching the sky.
Taihu Lake is vast in smoke and waves, West Lake is beautiful and rippling in blue waves, Suzhou gardens compete for beauty, and Nanjing is one of the ten dynasties cities and four ancient capitals. Jiangnan cuisine is well-known at home and abroad, such as: Nanjing salted duck, Wuxi sauce ribs, Hangzhou Dongpo meat and Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs, all of which will make you feel satisfied.
Spring is the most suitable, followed by autumn, which is too hot in summer and too cold in winter (I don't know where you are from, but if you are from the north, you can't stand the humidity and cold in the south). Come and play, you can consider one city to enter and another city to return.
If you take the train, you can go to Hangzhou first, then to Wuzhen, and then to Shanghai, Suzhou and Nanjing.
Looking at the ticket price by plane, the above order can be reversed, and it is cost-effective to go to Hangzhou and Nanjing.
1-2 days in Shanghai, Nanjing Road in Shanghai, the Bund and the Oriental Pearl in Lujiazui, Pudong, one and a half days is almost the same.
For 1-2 days in Hangzhou, you can go to Xixi in the morning and West Lake in the afternoon. It is enough to be nervous for one and a half days.
Wuzhen 1-2 days, if you have enough budget, you can stay in Wuzhen Xizha for one night, which is more expensive.
Suzhou 1-2 days, Nanjing 1-2 days, 7-10 days.
1. The best route to five cities in East China
Five of the five cities in East China generally refer to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou and Wuxi. It also refers to five cities in East China, namely Shanghai, Nanjing, Jinan, Hangzhou and Fuzhou.
Whether it is a small concept of five cities or a big concept of five cities, most of them are familiar to everyone. What I want to recommend to you here is Fuzhou, which is also located in East China and is often overlooked.
Fuzhou and Rongcheng are my favorite cities. I have been to 33 capitals in China, including 34 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, except Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian. Although I have been to Xiamen, another city in Fujian many times, I miss Fuzhou very much. I drove thousands of miles to Fuzhou this Spring Festival, which made my blank even more memorable. Because it is my first time to come to Fuzhou, I must find the most representative scenic spots or blocks and visit this historic city in person, and this representative place is three lanes and seven lanes.
Fuzhou is an ancient city with a history of 2200 years, with many natural and historical sites. Although it is a coastal city, it is surrounded by mountains and the peaks in the city are towering. Fuzhou, also known as Three Mountains, is a unique urban pattern with three mountains, two towers and one river, with Yushan, Urumqi and Pingshan as the center, Baita and Wuta as the main towers, and the Minjiang River passing through the city. Minjiang River is the mother river of Fuzhou, and Fuzhou is nourished and beautiful by Minjiang River. Three alleys and seven lanes are the soul of Fuzhou, and the root culture and history of Fuzhou.
Covering an area of about 40 hectares, Sanfangqixiang consists of three squares, seven lanes and a central axis street, namely Yijinfang, Wenru Square and Guanglu Square. Yangqiao Lane, Langguan Lane, Zhonglou Lane, Huang Xiang, Anmin Lane, Gongxiang, Goose Skin Lane and Nanhou Street have all been called three lanes and seven lanes since ancient times. Sanfangqixiang is a national 5A-level tourist attraction, one of the top ten historical and cultural streets in China, and a national key cultural relic protection unit.
During the visit, we learned that the three lanes and seven alleys have been the settlements of nobles and literati since the formation of the Jin and Tang Dynasties, and it was even more brilliant from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. There are about 270 ancient dwellings in this area, of which 159 are listed as protected buildings. There are living fossils of China Li Fang system and China Ming and Qing Architecture Museum. In the block, alleys crisscross and slabs are paved; Strict layout and skillful technology; Many of them are also decorated with pavilions, towers and rockeries, which integrate humanities and natural landscapes. Many doors and windows of houses are hollowed out and carved with tenons and mortises, with rich decorative patterns. Exquisite doorframes, flower stands and columns can be seen everywhere, which embodies the skills and characteristics of Fuzhou ancient city.
These alleys are a bit shabby because of their age, but in this ancient narrow alley, there are many celebrities' former residences. There are Chen Wenru's former residence Zheng, Lin Juemin's former residence Yi Jinfang Yanfu Yangqiao Road, Shen Baozhen Langguan Lane's former residence S in Gongxiang and so on. There are many celebrities in Langguan Lane alone. Chen Lie, a famous scholar in Song Dynasty, Zhang Jiliang, a patriotic poet in Qing Dynasty, Xu Lin, the founder of the Reform Movement of 1898 and Yan Fu, a modern enlightenment thinker, all lived here. In the former residence of Lin Juemin, a martyr of the Revolution of 1911 at the junction of Yangqiao Road and Nanhou Street, there once lived Bing Xin, a famous writer, and Lin, a niece of Lin Juemin. Three celebrities lived together. Nanhou Street Macau Road also has Lin Zexu Memorial Hall and the central axis of three lanes and seven lanes. We are in Lin Zexu and pay sincere tribute to Lin Zexu and other people with lofty ideals in previous dynasties.
Shi Shuo walked and watched. When he walked out of Nanhou Street, he felt that the famous historical and cultural streets in China were very thick. Historians believe that the historical and cultural blocks with three lanes and seven lanes have profound material characteristics and values, and they are living fossils to study the history of China cities.
2. Route strategy of five cities in East China
The five cities in East China refer to Wuxi, Suzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. The weather is very comfortable. Short sleeves and thin coats are ok, but take rain gear when you go out to prevent rain.
Five cities in East China are one of the important tourism resources in China. Taihu Lake is misty, West Lake is beautiful, Suzhou gardens are beautiful, and Nanjing is one of the four ancient capitals in the Ten Dynasties. Jiangnan cuisine is well-known at home and abroad. Nanjing salted duck, Wuxi sauce ribs, Hangzhou Dongpo meat and Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs will all make you feel delicious.
3. The best route to visit five cities in East China
First of all, your route is not reasonable. You have been back and forth several times. The reasonable route should be Shanghai-Wuxi-Suzhou-Hangzhou-Wuzhen-Shanghai.
D1: Dalian starts from Shanghai, goes directly to the railway station to catch Wuxi, and lives in Wuxi.
D2: In the morning, visit [Shengguo City], one of the central film and television bases (remember to take a boat tour of Taihu Lake, the third largest freshwater lake in China, and watch the wonderful performance of the three wars between Britain and Lyu3 bu4 at 10:00 a.m.). In the afternoon, visit Lingshan Giant Buddha, the largest open-air bronze station in China. In the evening, take a half-hour train from Wuxi Railway Station to Suzhou and stay there.
D3: Visit Lion Forest, one of the four major gardens in Suzhou in the morning (it is recommended to follow other tour guides, or I don't know Suzhou gardens. Visiting Suzhou landmark [Tiger Hill] in the afternoon, Su Dongpo said it was a pity to go to Suzhou instead of Tiger Hill (the legendary burial place of He Lv, the king of Wu, Tang Bohu almost became the first archaeologist to discover this tomb); Visit the nearby Shantang Street or Guanqian Street (Hanshan Temple is the most famous in Suzhou, but it is not recommended to visit it specially. Actually, it's just too famous. And I live in Suzhou.
D4: Take the train to Hangzhou in the morning. In the afternoon, visit Su Causeway near the West Lake (the first of the ten scenic spots in the West Lake, with the best scenery in April), and visit Huagang Fish Watching Park (the best place to kill movies when the South China is in full bloom). Buy a ticket at the pier [Take a boat trip to the West Lake], and you can overlook the [Three Ponds Printing the Moon] and [Broken Bridge Snow] in the ten scenic spots of the West Lake. Before dinner, I went straight to Hangzhou's most popular reality show [Song Cheng] (definitely suitable for young friends to watch, the effect was super good, and dinner was also eaten in Song Cheng) and lived in Hangzhou.
D5: At Hangzhou Tourism Distribution Center or any travel agency (it is best to make a reservation one day before arriving in Hangzhou. When you arrive in Wuzhen, you can travel freely without going back to Hangzhou with a tour group. You can take a bus directly to Shanghai from the passenger center there and live in Shanghai.
D6: Visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Shanghai in the morning, visit the Old Town God Temple in Yuyuan Mall in the afternoon, visit Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street in the evening, and live in Shanghai.
D7: The plane will return to Dalian.

It's best to book online in advance, but the general price is in 260 yuan/room. If you want to save more money, you can go to a city railway station and directly find the tourist accommodation service at the door. There are various prices everywhere.
Lou MM, this trip is designed for professionals. The whole trip is reasonable and easy to go. Backpackers who are suitable for self-help travel have basically reached the must-see attractions in every city. However, attention should be paid to controlling the purchase of train tickets between cities. Tickets are about 800 yuan/person, intercity train tickets are about 200 yuan/person, and accommodation is about 60%
