1. Starting from Zhoushan

① From Zhoushan to Flower and Bird Island, you must arrive in Ningbo by plane or train, and then take the bus to Zhoushan Dinghai Bus Terminal. The ticket is about 50 yuan, and the journey takes 1.5 hours. It is recommended to book the ticket one week in advance.

(2) If you are going to Sanjiang Wharf by boat, the cost of taking a taxi from the station to the wharf is about half an hour's drive from 50 yuan. If you arrive on the same day, you can go by boat. If it is too late, you can choose to stay in a nearby hotel for one night and leave the next morning.

③ Going from Shengsi Island to Flower and Bird Island is by boat. The ferry ticket from Sanjiang to Shengsi is 125 yuan, and there are many flights. The boat journey is about 2 hours, and the operation time is from 8: 30 to 14:50. The boat runs every hour, with an interval of 1 hour and 20 minutes from 13:30 to 14: 50.

2. Starting from Shanghai

Xi 'an goes to Shenjiawan Wharf, then gets off at Aodishui Lake Station of Metro Line 16 and takes Yangshan special line to Shenjiawan Wharf. The departure time of Yangshan special line is 7:40, 9:00 and 9:50, and the journey takes 65 minutes. It is not recommended to take the 9: 50 flight, which may miss the ship.

Buy a boat ticket:

① Shenjiawan-Shengsi (Lizhushan Wharf), with fast boats (1 hour) and slow boats (1.5 hours);

Sailing time: 9:15, 9:30, 10:40, 11:30, 14:10, 16:10 and 20:00. In the tourist season and holidays, there will be overtime boats. If you want to go to Flower and Bird Island on the same day, you must take the boat before 10: 40 to Shengsi.

(2) Shengsi Island needs to transfer to the pier, and the pier can take a taxi for 15-20 minutes (Lizhushan Pier-Xiaocaiyuan Pier);

The taxi takes about 10 minutes to arrive. The price is around 30 yuan in the off-season and around 40 yuan in the peak season. If you want to go to the island on the same day, you can take a taxi. The bus is too late.

③ Shengsi-Huaniao (small vegetable garden wharf-Huaniao Island wharf), 1.5 hours one way;

Sailing: 7:30 am and 12:20 noon, the price is 30 yuan, it takes 1.5 hours, and you can arrive at Flower and Bird Island around 14:00;

Ticketing time: Ticketing starts at 12:00 every day. (If you need to go to the island on the same day, you can only take the boat at 12: 20);

The number of people boarding the Flower and Bird Island is controlled at about 200, and tickets can only be purchased on the spot, so it is recommended to go to the ticket office one hour in advance.

1. Must watch the sunrise

A sunrise is absolutely necessary to go to Flower and Bird Island, and you must go to see a sunrise at the highest place or along the coast. The best place to watch the sunrise is on the terrace, seaside or fishing boat of the hotel.

Features of the route: one-way trip is about 5h+, which can be operated all year round, and it is too troublesome (only suitable for Zhoushan city and Ningbo Beilun tourists).

There are only two villages on the island, one is Flower and Bird Village and the other is Lighthouse Village. Flower-and-bird Village is the main residential area, while Lighthouse Village only houses some old people. Because the island is small, you don't need any means of transportation when you get to Flower and Bird Island, and you have to walk everywhere, so you don't have to worry about the transportation expenses on the island. Except for the route to the Flower and Bird Lighthouse, you can take a bus to the lighthouse.
