Badaling Great Wall is known as one of the nine blockades in the world, and its scenery is majestic, steep, beautiful and green, which is the essence of the scenery of the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty. The Badaling Great Wall Guancheng is a trapezoid with narrow east and wide west, with two east and west gates. The East Gate is titled "Juyong Waizhen" and the West Gate is titled "North Gate Lock Key". The Great Wall extending northward from Guancheng is the North Great Wall, with 12 watchtowers. South of Guancheng is the South Great Wall, with seven enemy towers. Compared with the North Great Wall, the South Great Wall has fewer tourists. If you have enough time, you can go to the South Great Wall first and then the North Great Wall.

In addition to being able to climb the Great Wall in Guancheng, there are also entrance gates on the 4th floor south, 4th floor north, 8th floor north and 11th floor north, all of which can climb the Great Wall.

Among them, the eighth floor in the north is the enemy building with the highest altitude in Badaling Great Wall, also known as "Sun Watch Platform". It is more than 1500 meters away from Guancheng, which is a good place overlooking the Great Wall.

Take a cableway

There are also ropeways on the 4th floor south and 8th floor north. Visitors who don't want to walk can take the cableway directly to the enemy building, and then return by cableway after the tour. It can save physical strength and play easily.

Peripheral catering

There is a commercial pedestrian street in Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area. After climbing the Great Wall, you can rest and eat here. In addition to the high-end Badaling Hotel (foreign-related hotel), there are old Beijing-style restaurants such as Zhajiang Noodles, Goubuli and Dumplings, and fast food such as Subway and Yonghe Soymilk, which can be selected as needed. If you have enough to eat and drink, you might as well visit the Zhan Tianyou Memorial Hall and the Great Wall Museum in China.

The preferential policy is only for tickets, and children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) of ropeways and ground cable cars are free, and other sizes are at the same price.
