Daxiangnan tourism

The overall idea of the Regional Tourism Development Plan for Southern Hunan is to create a "national tourism leisure life in southern Hunan". The overall planning layout embodies a regional center, two main nodes and two development axes, among which one regional center refers to Hengyang. Hengyang tourism focuses on one mountain (Nanyue and the tourism circle around Nanyue), one city (Hengyang urban area), one river (Xiangjiang Hengshan-Hengyang section tourism belt), one sea (Cai Lun Zhuhai), two axes (Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway and Xianggui high-speed railway) and eight districts (Siming Mountain, Qishan Mountain, Guiyang, Paradise Mountain, China Yinshan Mountain and leishui Wetland).

Northern Hunan: Yueyang, Yiyang, Changde and Zhangjiajie.

Xiangxi: The whole western Hunan including Zhangjiajie, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, Huaihua and western counties of Shaoyang (Suining, etc.).

Southern Hunan: Chenzhou (the closest city in Hunan to the Pearl River Delta, the bridgehead to undertake the industrial transfer in the Pearl River Delta) and Yongzhou in the southern part of Hunan Province, sometimes including Hengyang (the central city of Hunan Province, an important comprehensive transportation hub in China, an important town in central south, and the political, economic, military and cultural center of southern Hunan).

Central Hunan: Shaoyang City, Loudi City.

Xiangdong: Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan.
