The year before last, I took advantage of the National Day holiday to visit Jinan with my friends, punched in many scenic spots, and found a treasure spot to recommend you to go, that is, Qianfo Mountain, one of the three famous places of interest in Jinan, which can not only pray and burn incense, but also overlook Jinan City and watch the sunset.

Qianfo Mountain (Lishan)

Qianfo Mountain was called Lishan in ancient times. According to legend, Yu Shun once cultivated after Lishan, so it is also called Shunshan. During the Sui Dynasty, Buddhism prevailed in Shandong. Many Buddha statues were carved along the mountain and the wall, and the Thousand Buddha Temple was named Qianfo Mountain. Jinan, together with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

Admission: 15 yuan/person on weekdays and 30 yuan/person on holidays.

Bus No.2, No.48, No.64, No.85, No.51, No.54, No.56, No.66 and No.68 arrive at the north gate, west gate and east gate of Qianfo Mountain respectively.

Self-driving:

Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway-get off at the west exit of Jinan Ring Expressway-go east along Jingshi Road to Qianfoshan Road southbound-Qianfoshan, and it takes about 20 minutes to drive after getting off the expressway.

Jinan-Qingdao Expressway-Exit East of Jinan Ring Expressway-Go southbound at the intersection of Lishan Road via Shixi Road-Qianfo Mountain, and get off the expressway for about 20 minutes by car.

1. Wanfo Cave

The Wanfo Cave, located at the northern foot of Qianfo Mountain, was built in 1992. It consists of four parts: Mogao highlights, Longmen essence, Maiji wonders and Yungang gathering. It is a great scenic spot in Qianfo Mountain. The 500-meter-long cave has been carefully selected, concentrated and reconstructed by artists, and nearly 30,000 buddhas, bodhisattvas, disciples and heavenly kings have been created by imitation, which integrates the essence of the four major grottoes in Dunhuang, Longmen, Maijishan and Yungang. The largest reclining Buddha is 28 meters long, and the giant Buddha standing in front of the cave, which is based on the Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan, is 15 meters high, with eyes staring and solemn.

2. Thousand Buddha Cliffs

Cliff statues and inscriptions of Qianfo Mountain are located in Qianfo Mountain Scenic Area, including four scenic spots: Cliff Statues of Qianfo Mountain, Cliff Statues of Kaiyuan Temple, Cliff Statues of Giant Buddha Head and Cliff Statues of Huangshi Cliff.

3. Guanyin Garden

Guanyin Garden in Qianfo Mountain is dedicated to Guanyin in white. It is 15 meters tall and stands in the middle of the pool. It is kind and approachable. Around the pool are incarnations of various avalokitesvara, namely: Free Avalokitesvara, Songzi Avalokitesvara, Zhuzhu Avalokitesvara, Crossing the Sea Avalokitesvara and Yangliu Avalokitesvara. In the park, steep rocks stand on the bank of the pool, rocky rocks lie on the waves, and beautiful rocks are decorated. Shades hang around, and birds sing. The water in the pool is clear to the bottom, the lotus flowers bloom brightly, and the golden carp play.

4. Xingguo Temple

On the mountainside of Qianfo Mountain, covering an area of 3,000 square meters, it is a famous incense resort in Shandong. There are Maitreya Hall, Guanyin Hall, Dharma Hall, Jade Buddha Hall and Zen Hall in the courtyard. On the east side, the Daxiong Hall is for Sakyamuni, Guanyin Bodhisattva and many arhats.

The famous flavor snacks in the scenic spot are: clear oil silk cake, oil swirl, five-kernel bun, yellow rice cut cake, eight-treasure rice, spiced sweet foam, bean curd, pork soup-filling bun, assorted vegetarian bun, Sanxian fried dumpling, fried bun, wonton, dumplings, instant noodle dumplings, fried noodles, Lanzhou Lamian Noodles, Tangsu pancake, Luohan pancake, money crisp and steamed honey three knives.

Travel tips:

Qingling spring is hidden in the ancient scenery of Qingshan, and the sound of water is gurgling all year round. It was named after the sound of the clear spring stirring rocks and ringing. Guyun lake

Nestled in the green hills, the waves are shining and the scenery is beautiful. On the shore of the lake, poplars are towering, green willows are weeping, green grass is lush, and clear springs are flowing. There are beaches, small baths, waterslides, trestles, waterfall pavilions and multi-functional passenger ship hotels moored in the water.

Tea garden is located in Jiangjunshan area of Matao, with more than 700 mu of core tea garden, which produces 10,000-20,000 Jin of finished tea every year.
