Huairen Golden Beach Eco-tourism Zone

Huairen County is committed to green ecological construction, and has built a magnificent ecological forestry system with Golden Beach Eco-tourism Zone as the core, which is driven by project implementation and large-scale projects. Since 2000, it has invested 250 million yuan, afforested 425,000 mu and planted 4.5 million trees, forming an ecological landscape network with one belt, two mountains, three roads and ten pieces.

The "Belt" is the Xishan Shelterbelt, which spans five towns, with a total length of 50 kilometers and a green area of 60,000 mu. Since 2003, through the hard work of the masses, it has begun to take shape, mainly with Caragana korshinskii and Amorpha fruticosa, and some areas have coniferous forests.

The "two mountains", namely, Hongtao Mountain and Longshou Mountain, have a total greening area of 200,000 mu, including 138,000 mu of Hongtao Mountain and 62,000 mu of Longshou Mountain. The combination of arbor and shrub has created a rich forest landscape.

"Three Roads" include Universiade Expressway, Universiade Secondary Road and Zuosha Road. The greening of Universiade Expressway is mainly based on "mixed needles and broad leaves, combining arbor and irrigation", with a total greening area of 13,000 mu; The total length of the secondary road is 44.2 kilometers, with 3956 mu of greening; Zuosha Road has a total length of 21 kilometers and 189 acres of greening, which together constitute the green landscape of the highway.

"Ten pieces" is a centralized management area of fragile ecological areas, including 10,000 mu of Jiaming. Through large-scale contiguous management, the ecological quality is improved.

In addition, three greening projects have been implemented: first, village greening, including 29 villages and 148 kilometers of rural roads, planting 367,200 trees; Second, greening around the city, planting 350,000 new landscape trees, increasing the greening by 542,000 square meters, and building scenic spots in tourist areas; The third is the greening of factories and mines, and 15 factories and mines have completed 3500 mu of greening.

Golden Beach Eco-tourism Zone is located 20 kilometers west of Huairen County. The tourist area mainly covers Jinshatan Town and Hejiabao Township, including Jinshatan Forest Area and Hong Tao Mountain Forest Area.
