5. Diaoyutai City Site

The ancient city of Diaoyutai is located on an isolated mountain 2 kilometers northeast of Liuhe Town, with a dangerous geographical position. The ancient city was formed by using the platform and the mountain trend to go to the wall, and its shape was irregular. The plane of the inner city is slightly oval, the circumference of the city wall is 400 meters, the width of the remaining part of the base varies from 7 to 9 meters, the upper width is 4 to 5 meters, and the residual height is 1.5 to 2.5 meters. There is a door on the west side of the north wall, which is about 4 meters wide. The hillside outside the door is gentle, which is the main traffic artery in the city.
