1. China Elk Park
brief introduction
Located in the Yellow Sea beach in the east of Asia and the west coast of the Pacific Ocean, China Elk Park is the largest wetland in the east of Asia and the semi-primitive wetland with the best preserved ancient habitat in the west coast of the Pacific Ocean. It has been listed as a permanent protection site by the United Nations in the list of internationally important wetlands.
China Elk Garden is the only national 5A-level scenic spot with the theme of "Wetland Ecology and Elk Protection" in the world, and it is also the largest wild elk garden with the largest population in the world. 3. Water Street
brief introduction
The whole architectural style of Water Street is antique architecture, with more than 800 meters of winding waterways and pavilions standing by the water. The walls are made of clay blue bricks, the roofs are made of blue tiles or glazed tiles, and aluminum alloy antique doors and windows is equipped, which shows the customs of Yancheng water town and the historical and cultural features of sea salt. The scenic spot of Shuijie is divided into three areas: Dazhaimen, Tianshui Square and Yishui Restaurant. 4. Yancheng Dazong Lake Tourist Resort
brief introduction
Dazong Lake Scenic Area is located in the tourist resort of Dazong Lake in the southwest of Yancheng City, adjacent to Xinghua in Taizhou City. It is a national AAAA tourist scenic spot, a national water conservancy scenic spot, a national wetland park and a provincial tourist resort. Among them, Green Hill Camp in Dazong Lake Scenic Area is the first outdoor RV campsite in northern Jiangsu, the first RV campsite unit in Jiangsu Province and the standardized RV demonstration camp in the Yangtze River Delta.
Dazong Lake is clear and sweet, with abundant aquatic plants, wild birds and aquatic products. There are more than 120 kinds of plants and more than 50 kinds of wild animals, especially the clear water hairy crabs in Dazong Lake. 5. Huanghai Forest Park
brief introduction
The Yellow Sea National Forest Park is located in Dongtai City, the south gate of Yancheng, on the coast of the Yellow Sea. Founded in 1965, Dongtai State Forest Farm is a key construction base of national coastal shelter forest and a national ecological public welfare forest. In 2004, it became the first batch of forest parks in Jiangsu Province. In 2015, it passed the evaluation of national forest parks. In October 2016, it was officially approved as a national 4A-level tourist resort. In 2017, it was listed as the first batch of national forest experience pilot bases, selected as a national forest rehabilitation pilot base, and officially approved as a provincial tourist resort in January 2018.
The park is rich in forestry resources, well-protected vegetation and excellent ecological environment, with a total area of about 68,000 mu and a forest coverage rate of about 90%. It is the largest plain forest in the coastal areas of China, with about 628 species of plants, about 342 species of birds and nearly 30 species of mammals. It is an important migratory bird habitat in East Asia and Australia, and it is also a bright emerald on the unpolluted seashore holy land on the west coast of the Pacific recognized by UNESCO. The content of negative oxygen ions in the forest is about 4000 per cubic centimeter, forming an excellent ecosystem in which man and nature coexist harmoniously.
In recent years, the park adheres to the concept of "giving priority to ecology, paying equal attention to development and protection", connecting provincial highway 352 and national highway 228 around the theme of "green, ecology and health", focusing on the interactive dialogue between people and forests, forests and oceans, and featuring forest ecology and coastal customs, developing leisure and holiday exhibits such as popular science education, wetland sightseeing, ecological vacation, health and fitness, sports and fitness, and business exhibitions. 6. Yandu Park
brief introduction
Yandu Park is a practical social welfare project invested and built by Yancheng Municipal People's Government. It was formerly known as Yancheng Nursery, which was founded in 1956, and was renamed Huanghai Park in 1998. The first phase of the project was grandly opened on October 1, 1998, and it is one of the largest amusement places in northern Jiangsu. It is located in the southeast of scenic Yancheng City, close to the planned railway station, National Highway 204, Ningyan first-class highway and Chuanchang River, with a total area of 1,100 mu and an estimated total investment of 360 million yuan, attracting visitors from all over the world with its unique geographical location. 8. Yancheng New Fourth Army Memorial Hall
brief introduction
The Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army is located on the north side of Jianjun East Road. It was built in 1986 and is divided into four scenic spots: group sculpture, forest of steles, exhibition hall and garden. Entering the gate of the memorial hall, two groups of tall red granite sculptures stand on the east and west sides of the square: "Brave Fighting" and "Supporting the Army and Supporting the Front". 9. Yancheng People's Park
brief introduction
People's Park is located in the northwest corner of Yancheng City, with a total area of 200 mu, just north of which is the Xinyanggang River; On the west side is Yancheng people's mother river-Chuanchang River, which is connected with the natural light belt of Chuanchang River; the nearest neighbor is Yongning Ancient Temple, the first ancient temple in Jianghuai. 3. Former residence of Xu Xiake
brief introduction
Xu Xiake's former residence is located in Xu Xiake Town (Ma Town), Jiangyin City. Founded in Ming dynasty, it covers an area of 1000 square meters.
There is a plaque in the former residence of Xu Xiake, which displays Xu Xiake's life story, various karst specimens, papers and monographs written by modern experts and scholars, and more than 40 scenic photos of places where Xu Xiake has been.
In the east courtyard in front of the main hall of the former residence, stands a Podocarpus with thick branches and luxuriant green leaves, which was planted by Xu Xiake himself. Now the tree is 6.50 meters high, the root diameter is 2.2 meters, and the trunk needs to be folded by two people. It has a history of more than 400 years.
The backyard of the former residence is Xu Xiake's Ming-style burial tomb, which covers an area of 745 square meters and is surrounded by famous branches and flowers in the south of the Yangtze River, such as Podocarpus, cypress and magnolia. 5. Jiangyin Fortress Eco-tourism Zone
brief introduction
This scenic spot stretches a large area of forest and lake scenery, among which Jiangyin Fortress Forest Park is famous for its Huangshan Fort. Fortress Forest Park connects Huangshan Lake Park, Jiangyin Fortress Cultural Site (Huangshan Fort) Park and Ebouzui Park, and an "international" golf practice course built on the mountain.
