1. Hongshan
Hongshan is located in the center of Urumqi, where the rocks are abrupt. Whenever the morning is faint, the rock wall reflects the sun and the red light shines, hence the name. The mountain trend is east-west, and the main peak is 1391 meters above sea level. It is also called "Hutou Mountain" and "Hongshanzui" because the mountain is like a tiger and the steep rocks are red. Hongshan confronts Ya Maric Mountain, which is less than 1000 meters away. 2. Shuimogou Scenic Spot
