best Times
It snows in Mohe every October, and it won't melt until May next year. The snow season lasts for 8 months, but the best time is from November 15th to March 15th. Generally speaking, Mohe has been snowed several times, and the thickness is more than 20 cm.
The temperature in Mohe is below zero for eight months every year, and the average temperature in winter is around -30 degrees.

The best choice to Mohe is to go by train from Harbin. At present, there is a train at K7041 every day, which takes 18 hours. It is called the most beautiful northbound train. Sitting on the train, the train passes through the magnificent Linhai Xueyuan in Daxing 'anling, which is very poetic.
Dressing strategy
The normal outdoor temperature in Mohe is 20 degrees below zero during the day, which seems to be very cold, but the northeast of 20 degrees below zero is equivalent to 0 degrees in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Yunnan-Guizhou regions, and it is 20 degrees above zero indoors. It is normal for Mohe to undress in the door and go out to undress.
Therefore, to go to Mohe, you must first take warm measures. Down jackets, cotton trousers, snow boots (non-slip), ski gloves, velvet hats, scarves and warm stickers are essential. As long as the skin is exposed outside, it will soon be frozen!
Dressing advice
Wear thermal underwear+fleece jacket or small down jacket+thick down jacket on the upper part, thermal underwear+down trousers or down trousers on the lower part. The jacket should be hat-like, windproof and warm, and ski gloves and masks/down scarves are necessary. Don't wear many thin layers, it's not convenient to take them off indoors!
The outermost down jacket and trousers must be made of waterproof fabric, and the insulation effect is completely different!
When participating in skiing, ice games, hiking in the snow and waiting for outdoor sports, it is best to wear a quick-drying clothes in advance to avoid catching a cold after sweating.
