Those who have reached the age of 18 can apply for a visa separately.

You bring your household registration book, ID card and photos to the exit-entry administration of the Public Security Bureau where your household registration is located to apply for a personal passport.

Photos there are special passport photos at the entry and exit and nearby.

Passport application materials-

1. Submit a completed Passport Application Form with recent bareheaded color photos of the applicant (48X33mm with white background), and submit 2 photos of the same specification.

2. Submit a copy of the household registration book (or the original household registration certificate) and ID card, and submit the original.

With your passport, go to the embassy of your destination country to apply for a visa.

Minors need to meet the following conditions for a visa to Japan:

4. Identification: Applicants need to provide identification, such as household registration book and ID card. If you are a student, you also need to provide a student ID card and school certificate.

5. Proof of kinship: If the applicant is a minor, it is necessary to provide proof of kinship with parents or legal guardians, such as birth certificate and household registration book.

6. Parents' or legal guardians' consent: Minors need parents' or legal guardians' consent to travel to Japan. Applicants need to provide the consent form of their parents or legal guardians, which should be written in Chinese, English or Japanese.

7. Proof of financial ability: Applicants need to provide proof of financial ability of their parents or legal guardians, such as bank deposit certificate, payroll, real estate license, etc. These materials need to prove that the applicant has sufficient financial ability to pay the living expenses and travel expenses in Japan.

8. Itinerary: The applicant needs to provide detailed itinerary, including the date of entry and departure, the place of accommodation, the purpose of travel, etc. In addition, you need to provide round-trip air ticket reservation information and hotel reservation information.

9. Insurance: Applicants need to buy a travel insurance, and the insurance amount should be enough to cover the medical expenses and emergency evacuation expenses that may occur during their stay in Japan.

10. Other materials: According to the specific circumstances, the applicant may also need to provide other relevant materials, such as school transcripts and award certificates.

In short, minors need to prepare more materials for visas to Japan, but as long as the relevant materials are prepared as required, they can generally obtain visas smoothly.
