-Fuyang District: Fuyang District has become a part of Hangzhou since it was withdrawn from the city in December 2014, and is favored by its unique geographical environment and living environment.

In addition, the main urban area of Hangzhou also includes Gongshu District, Jianggan District, Binjiang District and Xiaoshan District. Together, these areas constitute the central area of Hangzhou, concentrating the functions of business, culture, finance, tourism, education, medical care and so on, and are the key areas for the economic and social development of Hangzhou. According to the Interpretation of Terminology issued by the Planning and Natural Resources Bureau of Hangzhou, the urban area of Hangzhou originally included Shangcheng District, Xiacheng District, Jianggan District, Gongshu District, Xihu District, Binjiang District, Xiaoshan District, Yuhang District and Fuyang District. Among them, Fuyang District joined the urban area of Hangzhou after withdrawing from the city in December 2014. Fuyang City Master Plan (2007-2020) approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government in September 2012 is still the planning basis of Fuyang District's urban development.
