Ancient battlefield in Chibi, China
Chibi Ancient Battlefield is located 38km northwest of chibi city on the border of Hunan and Hubei. In the 13th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 208), Zhou Yu, the commander-in-chief of Dongwu, defeated 800,000 Cao troops here with a fire attack, thus establishing a tripartite confrontation between Wei, Shu and Wu. A stormy Battle of Red Cliffs has left countless relics of the Three Kingdoms, making Red Cliff of the Three Kingdoms the only ancient battlefield with its original appearance in the famous ancient battles in China, so it is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote during his visit to Chibi that "the two dragons fought to win the battle, and the ship in Chibi was swept away. The fire shines on the sea of clouds, and Zhou Yu breaks Cao Gong here. " The famous poem.
Chibi Tourist Area consists of Chibi Mountain, Nanping Mountain and Jinluan Mountain. The main landscapes are:
Cliff carving on Chibi Mountain: On the hanging rock near the river, there is a stone carving "Chibi", each of which is 150 cm long and 104 cm wide. It is said that at that time, Battle of Red Cliffs, Sun Liulian and his army set fire to Cao Jun's warship, and the river was in flames, which made the cliff on the river red. After Zhou Yu led his troops to defeat Cao Jun, he celebrated the wine and carved "Chibi" on the cliff. In fact, the word was inscribed by the Tang people. Although it has been eroded by thousands of years of wind and rain and slapped by stormy waves, the handwriting is still clear and complete. Above the word "Luan", a Taoist priest in the Tang Dynasty, Lv Dongbin carved a glyph. There are poems written by tourists on both sides, and there are two poems written by Wang Feng in the early Ming Dynasty, which say, "The Red Cliff overlooks the river, and Zhou Yu breaks Cao Lang here. God has set a three-point potential, but it is a pity that the adulterer does not measure himself. Meng De's ambition is real, but God is not willing to follow his plan. The water army went down 800 thousand east, and there was no fire in front of Chibi Mountain. " According to the Song Dynasty poet Xie Fangde's Poems on Chibi-Preface, "I went back to Dongting from the river, sailed across Pu Yin, and saw that Shiyan had the word Chibi". The Ming Dynasty orthodox Jiayu County Records contained: "Chibi ... cut the wall to the west, and the word' Chibi' appeared on it". When visiting Chibi, Qiu Jin wrote, "Tong Tong's water potential resounds in Jiangdong, and this place was once attacked by fire. I blame Daonong for coming to mourn the day, and the shore flowers are still red with anxiety. " The famous poem.
Yijiang Pavilion: Built in 1936, it is located in Jitou, Chibi. When you climb to the top of Chibi, you will reach the Yijiang Pavilion on the cliff of Linjiang. This is a pavilion with six columns and corners. The beams and columns are all made of stones, which looks solemn and simple, and harmoniously blends with the evergreen pines and cypresses around. The pavilion column has a pair of couplets written by Cai Hanqing, a predecessor of the Republic of China: "The river is ruthless and red, relying on that year, no one can recognize the dangerous words and prosper the hegemony; As soon as the lake and mountain look at the blue, they leave behind the scenic spots, worrying about the sound price of Zhou Lang and the emblem of Lu Di. " Named after Chibi Mountain, which is like a golden phoenix fighting against the river, it was the command post where Zhou Yu defeated Cao Jun. Looking out from the railing here, the river is surging, and along the river on the other side, there is a very long and wide forest, which is the place where Cao Cao's base camp was assembled in the past.
Zhou Yushi Statue: A stone statue of Zhou Yu, the commander-in-chief of Dongwu in the Three Kingdoms, stands on the open flat land in Chibi, China. This statue was erected in January 1991, with a height of 6.5 meters and a pedestal height of 9.2 meters. It is carved from 26 granite boulders, and it is the largest figure stone statue in Hubei Province, which fully shows the heroic image of Zhou Lang in those years.
Wangjiang Pavilion: According to legend, during the Chibi War, Huang Gai looked at Cao Ying here.
Worship platform: Also known as Wuhou Palace, it is located at the top of Nanping Mountain in the south of Chibi Mountain. It was built to commemorate Zhuge Liang's "setting up an altar here to borrow the east wind and help Zhou Lang" when Battle of Red Cliffs was here. There are statues of Zhuge Liang and Taoyuan brothers in the palace, all of which are smooth in lines, full in shape and vivid in shape. According to the records of Jiayu County Records and Pu Yin County Records of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, Baifengtai was founded in the fifteenth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1382), and was majored by Liu Bingzheng, a magistrate of Jiayu County, and was called Guanzhu Temple. In the thirty-eighth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1610), Ge Zhongxian, a magistrate of Jiayu County, rebuilt the worship platform. Today's Baifeng Station was rebuilt in 1935 and maintained in 1948. In 1975, a "Dongfeng Pavilion" was built beside it for tourists to rest. Located on the right side of Baifeng Terrace, Chibi Monument Gallery contains twenty-five marble steles engraved with twenty-five poems and words chanted by famous artists of past dynasties, all written by famous contemporary calligraphers. These inscriptions, with their lines, grass, seal characters and official deeds, have their own merits and are exquisitely carved, which can be called immortal masterpieces.
Chibi War Exhibition Hall: It is a special exhibition hall with the theme of ancient war history, covering an area of 2,069 square meters. Construction started in 1990 and was completed in 1994. The museum has an orderly hall, a war situation model room, a wax story room and a literature and history reference room. The exhibits in the museum truly reproduce the human history at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the spectacular scene of the Three Kingdoms fighting in Chibi at that time. Preface Hall: There are three large maps painted on the wall of the hall: Situation Map of Chibi War in the Late Eastern Han Dynasty, Schematic Diagram of Warlords' Regime, and Distribution Map of Peasant Uprising Place Names. The hall displays the large-scale riprap car invented by Ye Liu, Cao Cao's counselor during the Guandu War, the Kongming chariot, the ancient carriage, Liu Bei's wedding car and the armor, helmets and weapons worn by soldiers of the three countries. Literature and history reference room: The restoration models, murals and imperial lineage tables of the three capitals are displayed. Princes' feudal tables, wall charts of generals who participated in the war, copied cultural relics and pictures of the Han Dynasty, etc. Replicated cultural relics mainly include: the restored tombs and crossbows of Wen Ho Chen, the general of Dongwu and the captain of Lu Hou, more than 1,000 knives, guns, swords and other weapons unearthed from Chibi Mountain, and a large number of national precious cultural relics such as Dongwu copper coins and bronze mirrors in the Three Kingdoms. Wax Sculpture Room for the Story of the Three Kingdoms: Seven groups of wax sculptures, namely, Confucianists in Debate, Bitter Tales, Serial Tales, Jiang Gan Stealing Books, Grass Boat Borrowing Arrows, Er Qiao Embroidering Screen, and Kongming Sacrificing the Wind, tell seven well-known stories of the Three Kingdoms in Battle of Red Cliffs.
Feng Chu Temple: On the mountainside of Jinluan Mountain in Chibi Ancient Battlefield, there is a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, which hides an ancient temple with white walls and blue tiles. On the door of the temple, there are three characters "Feng Chu Temple". Now an tang was built in the 26th year of Qing Daoguang (1846). It was originally a nine-fold hall, but only the last one is left, with a building area of 300 square meters. It consists of three halls, spanning the main hall of Jin Dynasty, with a statue of Pang Tong sitting on the altar. It looks serene and thoughtful. Before the Chibi War, Pang Tong had read the art of war here, and then he happened to meet Jiang Gan, and then he crossed the river with him, falsely voted for Cao Cao, and offered Cao Cao a series of tricks, so that Cao Jun's warships were connected together, which made immortal achievements for the burning of Cao Jun's warships.
Zhang Tian's fire in Battle of Red Cliffs has long been extinguished, but the red cliffs, endless surging rivers, and the monuments everywhere during the war, praising the inscriptions and poems of Chibi, have always attracted countless military commanders and literati. At present, Chibi Scenic Area is under planning and construction, and I believe it will be in the near future. What is presented to people will be more spectacular!
